    22ያዕቆብም ወደ አባቱ ወደ ይስሐቅ ቀረበ፤ እርሱም ነካው እንዲህም አለ፦ ድምፁ የያዕቆብ ድምፅ ነው፤ እጆቹ ግን የዔሳው እጆች ናቸው።

    23እጆቹ እንደ ወንድሙ የዔሳው እጆች ጸጉር የበዙ ስለ ነበሩ አላለየውም፤ ስለዚህ ባረከው።

    24እንዲሁም አለ፦ እውነት የእኔ ልጅ ዔሳው አንተ ነህ? እርሱም አለ፦ እኔ ነኝ።

    25አለ፦ ቀርበልኝ ከልጄ አዳኔ ሥጋ እበላ ነፍሴም እንድባርክህ። አቀረበለትም እርሱም በላ፤ የወይን ጠጅም አመጣለት ጠጣም።
