    29ሳምሶንም ቤቱ የቆመባቸውን የመካከለኛውን ሁለት ምሰሶዎች ይዞ አንዱን በቀኝ እጁ ሌላውንም በግራ እጁ ጠነከረ.

    30ሳምሶንም አለ፣ ከፍልስጥናውያን ጋር እሞታ። በሙሉ ኃይሉም ተጐናጸፈ፤ ቤቱም በአለቆቹና በውስጡ ባሉ ሁሉ ላይ ወደቀ። እንግዲህ በሞቱ የገደላቸው በሕይወቱ ከገደላቸው ይልቅ የበለጠ ሆነ.

    31ከዚያ ወንድሞቹና የአባቱ ቤተሰብ ሁሉ ወረዱና ወስደው አመጡት፤ በአባቱ ማኖህ መቃብር መካከል፣ በጾራና በኤስታኦል መካከል ቀብረውት። እርሱም እስራኤልን ሃያ ዓመት ፈረደ.

    21ፍልስጥናውያን ግን ይዞት ዐይኖቹን አወጡ፤ ወደ ጋዛም አወርዱት፤ በናስ ሰንሰለት አሳረዱት፤ በእስር ቤትም ድንጋይ ይፍጨር ነበር.

    22ነገር ግን ጠጕሩ ከተታጨ በኋላ እንደገና መዳበር ጀመረ.

    23ከዚያ የፍልስጥናውያን አለቆች ለአምላካቸው ዳጎን የታላቅ መሥዋዕት ለመሥጠት ተሰብስበው ሐሤት አደረጉ፤ አምላካችን ጠላታችንን ሳምሶንን ወደ እጃችን አሳልፎ ሰጥቶናል አሉ.

    12እነርሱም እንዲህ አሉት፦ አንተን ለማሰር እና በፍልስጥኤማውያን እጅ እንድንሰጥ ወርደናል። ሰምሶንም እንዲህ አላቸው፦ ራሳችሁ በእኔ ላይ እንዳትጥሉ ተማልኩልኝ.

    13እነርሱም እንዲህ አሉት፦ አይደለም፤ ነገር ግን እንሰርሃለን እና በእጃቸው እንሰጥሃለን፤ እንግዲህ አንገድልህም። ከዚያም በአዲስ ገመዶች ሁለት አስረውት ከዐለቱ አመጡት.

    14ወደ ሌሂ በመጣ ጊዜ ፍልስጥኤማውያን በእርሱ ላይ ጮኹበት፤ የጌታ መንፈስ በኃይል መጣበት፤ በክንዶቹ ላይ ያሉት ገመዶች እሳት የተቃጠለ ተክል እንደሚለቅ ሆነው ተለቀቁ፥ ማስሮቹም ከእጆቹ ተፈቱ.

    16ሰምሶንም እንዲህ አለ፦ በአህያ መንጫፍ አጥንት ጥቅል በላይ ጥቅል፤ በአህያ መንጫፍ አጥንት ሺህ ሰዎችን ገደልሁ.

    17መናገሩን ካጨረሰ በኋላ መንጫፉን ከእጁ ጣለው ያ ቦታም ራማት-ሌሂ ብሎ ሰየመው.

    8ከጊዜ በኋላ ለማግባት ተመለሰ፤ ወደ ጎንም ዘወረ የአንበሳውን አካል ቅሪት ለማየት፤ እነሆም በዚያ ውስጥ ብዙ ንብና ማር ነበሩ።

    9ከዚያ ውስጥ በእጁ ወሰደ፥ በመጓዙም ላይ ሲበላ ሄደ፤ ወደ አባቱና ወደ እናቱም መጣ ሰጣቸውም፥ እነርሱም በሉ፤ ነገር ግን ማርን ከአንበሳው አካል ቅሪት እንደ ወሰደ አላሳወቀላቸውም።
