As he stretched out over him, the boy’s flesh grew warm. 35 Elisha got up and walked back and forth in the house. Then he went up and stretched out over the boy again. The boy sneezed seven times and opened his eyes. 36 Elisha called Gehazi and said, 'Call the Shunammite woman.' He called to her and said, "Please bring me a little water in a vessel so I may drink." 11 As she was going to fetch it, he called to her and said, "Please bring me a piece of bread in your hand as well." 12 But she replied, "As the LORD your God lives, I have nothing baked. I only have a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. I am gathering a couple of sticks to go and prepare it for myself and my son so we may eat it and then die." 13 Elijah said to her, "Do not be afraid. Go and do as you have said, but first make a small cake for me from what you have and bring it to me. Then make some for yourself and your son." 14 For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'The jar of flour will not run out, and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain upon the earth.' 15 She went and did according to what Elijah said, and she, Elijah, and her household ate for many days.
