2Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.

4Ye are of God, [my] little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
3Grace, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
3And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
35The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
