3Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

5who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,
7that the proof of your faith, [being] more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:

22Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from the heart fervently:
12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, which cometh upon you to prove you, as though a strange thing happened unto you:
13but insomuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exceeding joy.
14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for these things, give diligence that ye may be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.
24Now unto him that is able to guard you from stumbling, and to set you before the presence of his glory without blemish in exceeding joy,
4having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,
5because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,
3that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you also, that ye also may have fellowship with us: yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ:
4and these things we write, that our joy may be made full.

13Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in [the time of] your ignorance:
18while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
15For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which [ye show] toward all the saints,
11for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
5hearing of thy love, and of the faith which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all the saints;
21keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
1Now faith is assurance of [things] hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.
10when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed (because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day.
19For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are not even ye, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?

13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
5Beloved, thou doest a faithful work in whatsoever thou doest toward them that are brethren and strangers withal;
1Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and [such] we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
8who shall also confirm you unto the end, [that ye be] unreproveable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And [which] entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him.
7For I had much joy and comfort in thy love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through thee, brother.
6And ye became imitators of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit;
4so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure;
29Jesus saith unto him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.
8For if these things are yours and abound, they make you to be not idle nor unfruitful unto the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
13to the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
7(for we walk by faith, not by sight);
25But if we hope for that which we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for it.
9But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:
11strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;
16For we did not follow cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
27to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
10And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, establish, strengthen you.
