11for thus shall be richly supplied unto you the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
12Wherefore I shall be ready always to put you in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth which is with [you] .
1Now we beseech you, brethren, touching the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him;
2to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand;
2that ye should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandments of the Lord and Saviour through your apostles:
1For yourselves, brethren, know our entering in unto you, that it hath not been found vain:
9For they themselves report concerning us what manner of entering in we had unto you; and how ye turned unto God from idols, to serve a living and true God,
10when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed (because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day.
1And I, brethren, when I came unto you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God.
17For we are not as the many, corrupting the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, speak we in Christ.
2but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

14not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.
21Of the men therefore that have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and went out among us,
10Ye are witnesses, and God [also], how holily and righteously and unblameably we behaved ourselves toward you that believe:
20for we cannot but speak the things which we saw and heard.
3seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;
6even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
12Demetrius hath the witness of all [men], and of the truth itself: yea, we also bear witness: and thou knowest that our witness is true.
3how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;
5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
6Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

16For of his fulness we all received, and grace for grace.
3For our exhortation [is] not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile:

8whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
13And for this cause we also thank God without ceasing, that, when ye received from us the word of the message, [even the word] of God, ye accepted [it] not [as] the word of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which also worketh in you that believe.
4And my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
8Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which we have wrought, but that ye receive a full reward.
