14but without thy mind I would do nothing; that thy goodness should not be as of necessity, but of free will.
26that your glorying may abound in Christ Jesus in me through my presence with you again.
16no longer as a servant, but more than a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much rather to thee, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
11I am afraid of you, lest by any means I have bestowed labor upon you in vain.
12I beseech you, brethren, become as I [am], for I also [am become] as ye [are] . Ye did me no wrong:
17but the other proclaim Christ of faction, not sincerely, thinking to raise up affliction for me in my bonds.
3I say it not to condemn [you] : for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die together and live together.
4Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction.

18What then is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel without charge, so as not to use to the full my right in the gospel.
19For though I was free from all [men], I brought myself under bondage to all, that I might gain the more.
15Where then is that gratulation of yourselves? for I bear you witness, that, if possible, ye would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.
15But I have used none of these things: and I write not these things that it may be so done in my case; for [it were] good for me rather to die, than that any man should make my glorifying void.
3And if I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
12and the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we also [do] toward you;
1For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
8Wherefore, though I have all boldness in Christ to enjoin thee that which is befitting,
13For [I say] not [this] that others may be eased [and] ye distressed;
6For if I should desire to glory, I shall not be foolish; for I shall speak the truth: but I forbear, lest any man should account of me above that which he seeth me [to be], or heareth from me.
15But I write the more boldly unto you in some measure, as putting you again in remembrance, because of the grace that was given me of God,
1Would that ye could bear with me in a little foolishness: but indeed ye do bear with me.
2For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy: for I espoused you to one husband, that I might present you [as] a pure virgin to Christ.
19Ye think all this time that we are excusing ourselves unto you. In the sight of God speak we in Christ. But all things, beloved, [are] for your edifying.
1For I would have you know how greatly I strive for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
15And in this confidence I was minded to come first unto you, that ye might have a second benefit;
16and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come unto you, and of you to be set forward on my journey unto Judaea.
15And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
5For I reckon that I am not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.
13Now for a recompense in like kind (I speak as unto [my] children), be ye also enlarged.
