1This is now, beloved, the second epistle that I write unto you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by putting you in remembrance;

2And the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
15Yea, I will give diligence that at every time ye may be able after my decease to call these things to remembrance.
15And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
16I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
18This charge I commit unto thee, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to thee, that by them thou mayest war the good warfare;
19holding faith and a good conscience; which some having thrust from them made shipwreck concerning the faith:
4having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,
3For I rejoiced greatly, when brethren came and bare witness unto thy truth, even as thou walkest in truth.
5for your fellowship in furtherance of the gospel from the first day until now;
6being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7even as it is right for me to be thus minded on behalf of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as, both in my bonds and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers with me of grace.
10But thou didst follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,
11To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and [every] work of faith, with power;
5But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience and faith unfeigned:
5Beloved, thou doest a faithful work in whatsoever thou doest toward them that are brethren and strangers withal;

25And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide, yea, and abide with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith;
2Now I praise you that ye remember me in all things, and hold fast the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.
3We are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, even as it is meet, for that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all toward one another aboundeth;
5Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in [your] virtue knowledge;
15But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me, [even] from my mother's womb, and called me through his grace,
1The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not I only, but also all they that know the truth;
