5having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:
7in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
8which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
9making known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
10unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, [I say],
11in whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will;
12to the end that we should be unto the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:
11Wherefore remember, that once ye, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called Circumcision, in the flesh, made by hands;
9who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,
5Now he that wrought us for this very thing is God, who gave unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

15We being Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
14who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.
18Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
7(for we walk by faith, not by sight);
29whereunto I labor also, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
30But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who was made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:
18Saith the Lord, who maketh these things known from of old.
21in whom each several building, fitly framed together, groweth into a holy temple in the Lord;
22in whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.
9What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we before laid to the charge both of Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin;
15For we are a sweet savor of Christ unto God, in them that are saved, and in them that perish;
8For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light
10proving what is well-pleasing unto the Lord;
10For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.
