1Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

21For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps:
6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,
11Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.
19Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
12that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

22Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from the heart fervently:
9for ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.
14Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:
13but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called To-day; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin:
10My son, if sinners entice thee, Consent thou not.
17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.
