12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey the lusts thereof:
13For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only [use] not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another.
16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
2that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh
1Whence [come] wars and whence [come] fightings among you? [come they] not hence, [even] of your pleasures that war in your members?
2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and covet, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war; ye have not, because ye ask not.
3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may spend [it] in your pleasures.

5Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry;
13For not even they who receive circumcision do themselves keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
7What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Howbeit, I had not known sin, except through the law: for I had not known coveting, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet:
41Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
9(for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),
5not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God;
6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
