4Knowest thou [not] this of old time, Since man was placed upon earth,
8It is high as heaven; what canst thou do? Deeper than Sheol; What canst thou know?
2And enter not into judgment with thy servant; For in thy sight no man living is righteous.
6That humbleth himself to behold [The things that are] in heaven and in the earth?
14and makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
9What knowest thou, that we know not? What understandest thou, which is not in us?
24Wherefore hidest thou thy face, And holdest me for thine enemy?
18What can David [say] yet more unto thee concerning the honor which is done to thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant.
13Why dost thou strive against him, For that he giveth not account of any of his matters?
27Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from Jehovah, and the justice [due] to me is passed away from my God?
13Oh that thou wouldest hide me in Sheol, That thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, That thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
2For what is the portion from God above, And the heritage from the Almighty on high?
6If thou hast sinned, what effectest thou against him? And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
13Who gave him a charge over the earth? Or who hath disposed the whole world?
9Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
