1And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2Son of man, what is the vine-tree more than any tree, the vine-branch which is among the trees of the forest?

10For thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength; therefore thou plantest pleasant plants, and settest it with strange slips.
11In the day of thy planting thou hedgest it in, and in the morning thou makest thy seed to blossom; but the harvest fleeth away in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.
13Thou hast a mighty arm; Strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
17Thou wilt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, The place, O Jehovah, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, The sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.
10and in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, [and] its blossoms shot forth; [and] the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:
5For before the harvest, when the blossom is over, and the flower becometh a ripening grape, he will cut off the sprigs with pruning-hooks, and the spreading branches will he take away [and] cut down.

21Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
12And the trees said unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us.
13And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my new wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to wave to and fro over the trees?
8Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, And the stock thereof die in the ground;

23in the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it; and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all birds of every wing; in the shade of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
16The right hand of Jehovah is exalted: The right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.
1And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.
11And it had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and their stature was exalted among the thick boughs, and they were seen in [ their height with the multitude of their branches.
