8Wherefore, though I have all boldness in Christ to enjoin thee that which is befitting,
23but now, having no more any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come unto you,
24whensoever I go unto Spain (for I hope to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first in some measure I shall have been satisfied with your company)--

11Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way unto you:
12and the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we also [do] toward you;
15For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which [ye show] toward all the saints,
7even as it is right for me to be thus minded on behalf of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as, both in my bonds and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers with me of grace.
8For God is my witness, how I long after you all in the tender mercies of Christ Jesus.
9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment;
11ye also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift bestowed upon us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf.
5for your fellowship in furtherance of the gospel from the first day until now;
11To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and [every] work of faith, with power;
12that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
7so that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ;
17But we, brethren, being bereaved of you for a short season, in presence not in heart, endeavored the more exceedingly to see your face with great desire:
6But when Timothy came even now unto us from you, and brought us glad tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, even as we also [to see] you;
19And I exhort [you] the more exceedingly to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
5For though I am absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6but with you it may be that I shall abide, or even winter, that ye may set me forward on my journey whithersoever I go.
7For I do not wish to see you now by the way; for I hope to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
13whom I would fain have kept with me, that in thy behalf he might minister unto me in the bonds of the gospel:
3I thank my God upon all my remembrance of you,
12So also ye, since ye are zealous of spiritual [gifts], seek that ye may abound unto the edifying of the church.
15For perhaps he was therefore parted [from thee] for a season, that thou shouldest have him for ever;
14These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly;
1For I would have you know how greatly I strive for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
14but I hope shortly to see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace [be] unto thee. The friends salute thee. Salute the friends by name.
22But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I hope that through your prayers I shall be granted unto you.
9For we rejoice, when we are weak, and ye are strong: this we also pray for, even your perfecting.
10For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not when present deal sharply, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for casting down.
11strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;
19But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
19For I know that this shall turn out to my salvation, through your supplication and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
