10So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.

11But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the life eternal, whereunto thou wast called, and didst confess the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.
14Of these things put them in remembrance, charging [them] in the sight of the Lord, that they strive not about words, to no profit, to the subverting of them that hear.
15Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.
17That the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

12Wherefore I shall be ready always to put you in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth which is with [you] .

19So then let us follow after things which make for peace, and things whereby we may edify one another.
4neither to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questionings, rather than a dispensation of God which is in faith; [so do I now] .
1Put them in mind to be in subjection to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready unto every good work,
16They profess that they know God; but by their works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
5Beloved, thou doest a faithful work in whatsoever thou doest toward them that are brethren and strangers withal;
21for we take thought for things honorable, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
8And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work:
1But speak thou the things which befit the sound doctrine:
2that aged men be temperate, grave, sober-minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience:
9But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:
6that the fellowship of thy faith may become effectual, in the knowledge of every good thing which is in you, unto Christ.
12instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world;
13Hold the pattern of sound words which thou hast heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
6Insomuch that we exhorted Titus, that as he made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace also.

18This charge I commit unto thee, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to thee, that by them thou mayest war the good warfare;
6being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
14What doth it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but have not works? can that faith save him?
