  • 9 And you, Solomon my son, get knowledge of the God of your father, and be his servant with a true heart and with a strong desire, for the Lord is the searcher of all hearts, and has knowledge of all the designs of men's thoughts; if you make search for him, he will be near you; but if you are turned away from him, he will give you up for ever.

  • 11 Now, my son, may the Lord be with you; and may you do well, and put up the house of the Lord your God, as he has said of you.

  • 10 If you give ear to the voice of the Lord your God, keeping his orders and his laws which are recorded in this book of the law, and turning to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

  • 18 But the Lord said to David my father, You did well to have in your heart the desire to make a house for my name;
