  • 4 As for you, if you will go on your way before me, as David your father did, uprightly and with a true heart, doing what I have given you orders to do, keeping my laws and my decisions;

  • 12 And it will be, that if you give attention to these decisions and keep and do them, then the Lord will keep his agreement with you and his mercy, as he said in his oath to your fathers.

  • 13 But if you say, We have no desire to go on living in this land; and do not give ear to the voice of the Lord your God,

  • 20 So that his heart may not be lifted up over his countrymen, and he may not be turned away from the orders, to one side or the other: but that his life and the lives of his children may be long in his kingdom in Israel.

  • 3 If you are guided by my rules, and keep my laws and do them,

  • 8 And you will again give ear to the voice of the Lord, and do all his orders which I have given you today.

  • 14 And if you go on in my ways, keeping my laws and my orders as your father David did, I will give you a long life.
