  • Exod 25:1-9 : 1 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 2 Speak to the Israelites, so they take an offering for Me. Accept the offering from everyone whose heart moves them to give. 3 And this is the offering you shall take from them: gold, silver, and bronze; 4 blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, fine linen, and goats' hair; 5 ram skins dyed red, fine leather, and acacia wood; 6 oil for the lamp, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 7 onyx stones and stones for setting, for the ephod and the breastpiece. 8 And let them make a sanctuary for Me, so that I may dwell among them. 9 Make it according to everything I show you—the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings. This is how you are to make it. 10 They shall make an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high. 11 Overlay it with pure gold, both inside and outside, and make a gold molding around it. 12 Cast four gold rings for it and attach them to its four feet, two rings on one side and two rings on the other. 13 Make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 14 Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it. 15 The poles are to remain in the rings of the ark; they must not be removed. 16 Place inside the ark the testimony that I will give you. 17 Make a mercy seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide. 18 Make two cherubim of gold; make them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 Make one cherub at one end and the other cherub at the other end. Make the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at its two ends. 20 The cherubim shall have their wings outstretched upward, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings. Their faces shall be toward each other, looking toward the mercy seat. 21 Place the mercy seat on top of the ark, and put into the ark the testimony that I will give you. 22 I will meet with you there and speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, about everything I will command you regarding the Israelites. 23 Make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. 24 Overlay it with pure gold and make a gold border around it. 25 Make a rim a handbreadth wide around it, and put a gold border on the rim. 26 Make four gold rings for it and attach the rings to the four corners at its four legs. 27 The rings are to be close to the rim to hold the poles for carrying the table. 28 Make the poles of acacia wood, overlay them with gold, and use them to carry the table. 29 Make its plates, dishes, pitchers, and bowls for pouring drink offerings; make them of pure gold. 30 Place the bread of the Presence on the table before Me continually. 31 Make a lampstand of pure gold. It is to be made of hammered work: its base and shaft, its cups, its bulbs, and its flowers are to be of one piece with it. 32 Six branches are to extend from its sides, three branches of the lampstand from one side and three branches from the other. 33 On one branch, there are to be three cups shaped like almond blossoms, with bulbs and flowers, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the next branch—both the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand. 34 And on the lampstand itself, there are to be four cups shaped like almond blossoms, with bulbs and flowers. 35 A bulb shall be under the first pair of branches coming out of it, a bulb under the second pair of branches, and a bulb under the third pair of branches—each pair corresponding to the six branches extending from the lampstand. 36 The bulbs and branches shall be of one piece with it, all of it hammered out of pure gold. 37 Then make its seven lamps and set them up so that they illuminate the area in front of it. 38 The wick trimmers and trays are to be of pure gold. 39 The entire lampstand with its utensils shall be made from a talent of pure gold. 40 See to it that you make them according to the pattern shown to you on the mountain.
  • Exod 31:1-9 : 1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 See, I have called by name Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill in all kinds of craftsmanship. 4 to design artistic works, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, 5 to cut and set stones, to carve wood, and to engage in all forms of craftsmanship. 6 Moreover, I have appointed with him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. I have also given skills to all the skillful workers that they may make everything I have commanded you: 7 the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant, and the atonement cover upon it, and all the furnishings of the tent, 8 the table and its utensils, the pure lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense, 9 the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, the basin with its stand, 10 the woven garments, both the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons to serve as priests, 11 and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the holy place. They must do everything just as I have commanded you.
