20Brethren, be not chyldren in wytte: Howbeit, as concerning maliciousnesse, be chyldren: but in wytte, be perfect.
5Not in the lust of concupiscence, euen as the gentiles, which knowe not God.
6Therefore let vs not sleepe, as do other: but let vs watche and be sober.
7For they that sleepe, sleepe in the night: and they that be druncken, are druncken in the nyght.
17That the God of our Lorde Iesus Christe, the father of glorie, may geue vnto you the spirite of wisdome and reuelation, in the knowledge of hym:
18The eyes of your myndes beyng lightened, that ye maye knowe what the hope is of his callyng, and what the richesse of the glorie of his inheritaunce is in the saintes:
9For this cause we also, sence ye day we hearde, haue not ceassed to pray for you, and to desire that ye myght be fulfylled with knowledge of his wyll, in all wisdome & spiritual vnderstandyng,
10That ye myght walke worthie of the Lorde in all pleasyng, beyng fruitefull in all good workes, and encreasyng in the knowledge of God,
2And fasshion not your selues lyke vnto this worlde, but be ye chaunged in your shape, by ye renuing of your minde, that ye may proue what is the wyll of God, good, and acceptable, and perfect.
5Take heede vnto knowledge O ye ignoraunt, be ye wise in heart O ye fooles.
7Consider What I say: and the Lorde geue thee vnderstandyng in all thinges.
13Let vs walke honestly as in the day, not in riotyng & dronkennesse, neither in chaumberyng & wantonnesse, neither in strife and enuying.
14But put ye on ye Lorde Iesus Christe. And make not prouision for the fleshe, to the lustes therof.
17Be neither to vnrighteous also nor to foolishe, lest thou die before thy time.
23To be renued in the spirite of your mynde,
2That he hence forwarde shoulde lyue, as much tyme as remayneth in ye fleshe, not after the lustes of men, but after the wyll of God.
18Let no man deceaue him selfe. Yf any man among you seeme to be wise in this worlde, let hym be a foole, that he may be wyse.
19For the wisedome of this worlde, is foolishnesse with God. For it is writte: He compasseth the wise in their own craftynesse.
20And agayne The Lorde knoweth the thoughtes of the wyse, that they be vayne.
15For so is the wyll of God, that with well doyng, ye may stoppe the mouthes of foolishe and ignoraunt men:
4And it seemeth to them an inconuenient thyng, that ye runne not also with them vnto the same excesse of riote, and therefore speake they euyll of you:
14As obedient chyldren, not fashionyng your selues vnto the former lustes of your ignoraunce:
4But ye brethren are not in darknesse, that that day shoulde ouertake you as a theefe.

3For this is the wyll of God, your holynesse, that ye should abstayne from fornication:
1Be ye therefore folowers of God, as deare chyldren:
16Then I say, walke in the spirite, and ye shall not fulfyll the lust of the flesshe.
15For that ye ought to say: If the Lorde wyll, and yf we lyue, let vs do this or that.
10To thintent that nowe vnto the rulers and power in heauenly thynges myght be knowen by ye Church, the very manyfolde wysedome of God:
17Pray continually.
5Wicked men vnderstande not iudgement: but they that seeke the Lord, vnderstande all thinges.
7The ende of all thynges is at hande. Be ye therefore sober, and watche vnto prayer.
34Awake truely out of slepe, and sinne not: For some haue not the knowledge of God. I speake this to your shame.
20But ye haue not so learned Christe.
2For ye your selues knowe perfectlye that the day of the Lord shall so come euen as a theefe in the nyght.
19Quenche not the spirite.
