1 And after sixe dayes, Iesus taketh Peter, Iames, and Iohn his brother, and bryngeth them vp into an hye mountayne, out of the way,

36 And assoone as the voyce was paste, Iesus was founde alone: and they kept it close, and tolde no man in those dayes any of those thynges which they hadde seene.
37 And it came to passe, that on the next day, as they came downe from the hyll, much people met hym.

9 And when they came downe from the mountayne, Iesus charged them, saying: shewe the vision to no man, vntyll the sonne of man be rysen agayne from the dead.
10 And his disciples asked hym, saying: Why then say the scribes, that Elias must first come?
11 Iesus aunswered, & sayde vnto them: Elias truely shall first come, and restore all thynges:
8 And of some, that Elias had appeared, and of some, that one of the olde prophetes was rysen agayne.

35 And the chyldren of Israel sawe the face of Moyses: that the skynne of Moyses face shone, and Moyses put the coueryng vpon his face agayne, vntyll he went in to commune with hym.
