Now whan he was gone, his seruauntes came in, and sawe that the dore of the Sommer perler was lockte, and they sayde: peraduenture he is gone to the preuye in the syled Sommer perler.

    22 so yt the hefte wente in also after the blade, & the fatt closed the hefte: for he drue not ye dagger out of his bely, & ye fylthines departed fro him.

    23 But Ehud gat him out at the backe dore, & put to ye dore after him, and lockte it.

  • 8 Then was the coueringe of Iuda put from thence, and then was sene the sege of the tymbre house.

  • 16 And she layed vp his garmet by her, tyll his master came home,

  • 20 And they went in to the kinge to the courte. But they kepte the boke in the chambre off Elisama the scrybe, ad tolde the kynge all the wordes, that he might heare.

  • 7 And wha Boos had eate & dronke, his hert was mery, & he came and layed him downe behynde a heape of sheues. And she came secretly, and toke vp the coueringe at his fete, and layed hir downe.
