    23And all the Kings of the earth sought the presence of Salomon, to heare his wisedome that God had put in his heart.

    24And they brought euery man his present, vessels of siluer, and vessels of golde, and raiment, armour, and sweet odours, horses, and mules, from yeere to yeere.

    25And Salomon had foure thousand stalles of horses, and charets, and twelue thousand horsmen, whom he bestowed in the charet cities, and with the King at Ierusalem.

    26And he reigned ouer all the Kings from the Riuer euen vnto the land of the Philistims, and to the border of Egypt.

    27And the King gaue siluer in Ierusalem, as stones, and gaue cedar trees as the wilde fig trees, that are aboundant in the plaine.

    28And they brought vnto Salomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all landes.

    15And this is the cause of the tribute why King Salomon raised tribute, to wit, to builde the house of the Lord, and his owne house, & Millo, & the wal of Ierusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

    16Pharaoh King of Egypt had come vp, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slew the Canaanites, that dwelt in the citie, and gaue it for a present vnto his daughter Salomons wife.

    17(Therefore Salomon builte Gezer and Beth-horon the nether,

    18And Baalath and Tamor in the wildernes of the land,

    10And at the ende of twentie yeeres, when Salomon had buylded the two houses, the house of the Lord, and the Kings palace,

    11(For the which Hiram the King of Tyrus had brought to Salomon timber of cedar, and firre trees, and golde, and whatsoeuer he desired) then King Salomon gaue to Hiram twentie cities in the land of Galil.

    12And Hiram came out from Tyrus to see the cities which Salomon had giuen him, & they pleased him not.

    13Therefore hee sayde, What cities are these which thou hast giuen me, my brother? And hee called them the land of Cabul vnto this day.
