7Thus did Samuel, before hee knewe the Lord, and before the word of the Lord was reueiled vnto him.
8And the Lorde called Samuel againe the thirde time: and he arose, and went to Eli, & said, I am here: for thou hast called me. Then Eli perceiued that the Lord had called the childe.
9Therefore Eli saide vnto Samuel, Goe and sleepe: and if he call thee, then say, Speake Lorde, for thy seruant heareth. So Samuel went, and slept in his place.
10And the Lord came, and stoode, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speake, for thy seruant heareth.
11Then the Lord said to Samuel, Beholde, I wil doe a thing in Israel, whereof whosoeuer shall heare, his two eares shall tingle.
3And yet the light of God went out, Samuel slept in the temple of the Lorde, where the Arke of God was.
7And when he looked backe, he saw me, and called me; I answered, Here am I.
8And he said vnto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
4And when the Lord sawe that he turned aside to see, God called vnto him out of the middes of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses; he answered, I am here.
12And Saul said, Heare now thou sonne of Ahitub; he answered, Here I am, my lord.

2And Samuel sayde, Howe can I goe? For if Saul shall heare it, he will kill me. Then the Lorde answered, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to doe sacrifice to the Lord.
3And call Ishai to the sacrifice, and I will shewe thee what thou shalt doe, and thou shalt anoynt vnto me him whom I name vnto thee.
4So Samuel did that the Lorde bade him, and came to Beth-lehem, and the Elders of the towne were astonied at his coming, and sayd, Commest thou peaceablie?
14And when Eli heard the noyse of the crying, he sayd, What meaneth this noyse of the tumult? and the man came in hastily, and tolde Eli.
2And God spake vnto Israel in a vision by night, saying, Iaakob, Iaakob. Who answered, I am here.
15And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me vp? Then Saul answered, I am in great distresse: for the Philistims make warre against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by Prophetes, neither by dreames: therefore I haue called thee, that thou mayest tell me, what I shall doe.
26And she said, Oh my Lord, as thy soule liueth, my lord, I am the woman that stoode with thee here praying vnto the Lord.
17And Samuel assembled the people vnto the Lord in Mizpeh,
1Afterward Samuel said vnto Saul, The Lord sent me to anoint thee King ouer his people, ouer Israel: nowe therefore obey the voyce of the wordes of the Lord.

18Then went Saul to Samuel in the middes of the gate, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, where the Seers house is.

11And the Angel of God sayde to mee in a dreame, Iaakob; I answered, Lo, I am here.
16Againe Samuel saide to Saul, Let me tell thee what the Lord hath saide to me this night; he said vnto him, Say on.
27And there came a man of God vnto Eli, and said vnto him, Thus saith the Lord, Did not I plainely appeare vnto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaohs house?
31And they that heard the wordes which Dauid spake, rehearsed them before Saul, which caused him to be brought.
9Then shalt thou call, and the Lorde shall answere: thou shalt cry and hee shall say, Here I am: if thou take away from the mids of thee the yoke, the putting foorth of the finger, and wicked speaking:
4I did call vnto the Lord with my voyce, & he heard me out of his holy mountaine. Selah.
1Samuel then said vnto all Israel, Behold, I haue hearkened vnto your voyce in all that yee sayde vnto mee, and haue appoynted a King ouer you.
