  • 8And so did he for all his outlandish wiues, which burnt incense and offered vnto their gods.

  • 16So the King departed and all his houshold after him, and the King left ten concubines to keepe the house.

  • 16Therefore the Elders of the Congregation said, How shall we doe for wiues to the remnant? for the women of Beniamin are destroyed.

  • 17And they came vp into Iudah, and brake into it, & caryed away all the substance that was found in the Kings house, & his sonnes also, & his wiues, so that there was not a sonne left him, saue Iehoahaz, the yongest of his sonnes.

    12And because hee humbled himselfe, the wrath of the Lorde turned from him, that hee woulde not destroy all together; also in Iudah the things prospered.

    13So King Rehoboam was strong in Ierusalem and reigned: for Rehoboam was one and fourtie yere olde, when he began to reigne, and reigned seuenteene yeres in Ierusalem, the citie which the Lorde had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel to put his Name there; his mothers name was Naamah an Ammonitesse.
