23And shee answered them, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, Tell yee the man that sent you to me,

3And in the eighteenth yeere of King Iosiah, the King sent Shaphan the sonne of Azaliah the sonne of Meshullam the chanceller to ye house of the Lord, saying,
4Goe vp to Hilkiah the high Priest, that hee may summe the siluer which is brought into the house of the Lorde, which the keepers of the doore haue gathered of the people.

8Then in the eightenth yere of his reigne, when hee had purged the lande and the Temple, he sent Shaphan the sonne of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the gouernour of the citie, & Ioah the sonne of Ioahaz the recorder, to repaire the house of the Lord his God.
9And when they came to Hilkiah the hie Priest, they deliuered ye money that was brought into the house of God, which the Leuites that kept the doore, had gathered at the hand of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and of all the residue of Israel, and of all Iudah and Beniamin, and of the inhabitantes of Ierusalem.
10And they put it in the hands of them that should doe the worke and had the ouersight in the house of the Lorde: and they gaue it to the workemen that wrought in the house of ye Lorde, to repaire and amend the house.
7Also Ieshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Iamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Iozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Leuites caused the people to vnderstand the lawe, and the people stood in their place.
8And they read in the booke of the Lawe of God distinctly, and gaue the sense, & caused them to vnderstand the reading.
7Howebeit, let no rekoning bee made with them of the money, that is deliuered into their hand: for they deale faithfully.
18But to the King of Iudah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord, so shal ye say vnto him, Thus sayeth the Lorde God of Israel, The wordes that thou hast heard, shal come to passe.
10Then read Baruch in the booke the wordes of Ieremiah in the house of the Lord, in the chamber of Gemariah the sonne of Shaphan the secretarie, in the hier court at the entrie of the new gate of the Lordes house, in the hearing of all the people.

8Therefore the King commaunded, and they made a chest, and set it at the gate of the house of the Lord without.
3And he read therein in the streete that was before the watergate (from the morning vntill the midday) before men and women, and them that vnderstoode it, and the eares of all the people hearkened vnto the booke of the Lawe.
21And I haue prepared therein a place for the Arke, wherein is the couenant of the Lorde which he made with our fathers, whe he brought them out of the lande of Egypt.
9And they taught in Iudah, and had the booke of the Lawe of the Lorde with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Iudah, and taught the people.
14So Hezekiah receiued the letter of the hand of the messengers and read it, and he went vp into the House of the Lorde, and Hezekiah spread it before the Lord.
29And Zephaniah the Priest red this letter in the eares of Ieremiah the Prophet.
