2And he saide, The Lord shall roare from Zion, and vtter his voyce from Ierusalem, and the dwelling places of the shepheards shal perish, and the top of Carmel shall wither,
7The lyon is come vp from his denne, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is departed, and gone forth of his place to lay thy land waste, and thy cities shalbe destroyed without an inhabitant.
8Wherefore girde you with sackecloth: lament, and howle, for the fierce wrath of the Lord is not turned backe from vs.
10The roaring of the Lion, and the voyce of the Lionesse, & the teeth of the Lions whelpes are broken.
11The Lyon perisheth for lacke of pray, and the Lyons whelpes are scattered abroade.
3And cried with a loude voyce, as when a lyon roareth: and when he had cried, seuen thunders vttered their voyces.

8And he cryed, A lyon: my lorde, I stand continually vpon ye watche towre in the day time, and I am set in my watche euery night:

3Thus sayth the Lorde God, Woe vnto the foolish Prophets that followe their owne spirit, and haue seene nothing.
1Blowe the trumpet in Zion, and shoute in mine holy mountaine: let all the inhabitants of the lande tremble: for the day of the Lorde is come: for it is at hand.
15The lions roared vpon him & yelled, and they haue made his land waste: his cities are burnt without an inhabitant.
8Againe, the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
30A lyon which is strong among beastes, and turneth not at the sight of any:
7And I wil be vnto them as a very lyon, and as a leopard in the way of Asshur.
8I will meete them, as a beare that is robbed of her whelpes, and I will breake the kall of their heart, and there will I deuoure them like a lion: the wilde beast shall teare them.
11And the Lord shal vtter his voyce before his hoste: for his hoste is very great: for he is strog that doeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible, and who can abide it?
14For I will be vnto Ephraim as a lyon, and as a lyons whelpe to the house of Iudah: I, euen I will spoyle, and goe away: I will take away, and none shall rescue it.
