15Then shal the father of the mayde and her mother take and bring the signes of the maydes virginitie vnto the Elders of the citie to the gate.
16And the maydes father shall say vnto the Elders, I gaue my daughter vnto this man to wife, and he hateth her:
17And lo, he layeth slaunderous things vnto her charge, saying, I founde not thy daughter a mayde: loe, these are the tokens of my daughters virginitie: and they shal spreade the vesture before the Elders of the citie.
18Then the Elders of the citie shal take that man and chastise him,
19And shall condemne him in an hundreth shekels of siluer, & giue them vnto the father of the mayde, because he hath brought vp an euill name vpon a mayde of Israel: and she shalbe his wife, and he may not put her away all his life.
20But if this thing be true, that the mayde be not found a virgine,
8Neuertheles if the woman wil not followe thee, then shalt thou bee discharged of this mine othe: onely bring not my sonne thither againe.
16And if a man entise a maide that is not betrothed, and lie with her, hee shall endowe her, and take her to his wife.
17If her father refuse to giue her to him, hee shal pay money, according to ye dowry of virgins.

41Then shalt thou be discharged of mine othe, when thou commest to my kinred: and if they giue thee not one, thou shalt be free from mine othe.

22And when their fathers or their brethren come vnto vs to complaine, we wil say vnto them, Haue pitie on them for our sakes, because we reserued not to eche man his wife in the warre, and because ye haue not giuen vnto them hitherto, ye haue sinned.
10And if he haue no brethren, ye shall giue his inheritance vnto his fathers brethren.
8Therefore the kinsman sayd to Boas, Buy it for thee: and he drew off his shooe.
