    19And when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the Lord our God doe these things vnto vs? then shalt thou answere them, Like as ye haue forsaken me and serued strange gods in your land, so shall ye serue strangers in a land that is not yours.

    20Declare this in the house of Iaakob, and publish it in Iudah, saying,

  • 30Beware, lest thou be taken in a snare after them, after that they be destroied before thee, and lest thou aske after their gods, saying, Howe did these nations serue their gods, that I may doe so likewise?

  • 23Ye shall not make therefore with me gods of siluer, nor gods of golde: you shall make you none.

  • 18And haue set fire on their gods: for they were no gods, but the worke of mans hands, euen wood and stone: therefore they destroyed them.

  • 18But I said vnto their children in the wildernes, Walke ye not in the ordinances of your fathers, neither obserue their maners, nor defile your selues with their idoles.

  • 17Thou shalt make thee no gods of metall.

  • 9Let there bee no strange god in thee, neither worship thou any strange god.

  • 13But yee shall ouerthrowe their altars, and breake their images in pieces, & cut downe their groues,

  • 5That I may take the house of Israel in their owne heart, because they are all departed from me through their idoles.

  • 8Also thou shalt say vnto them, whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which soiourne among them, that offreth a burnt offring or sacrifice,

  • 2Thus saith the Lorde, Learne not the way of the heathen, & be not afraid for the signes of heauen, though the heathen be afraid of such.

  • 19Wo vnto him that sayth to the wood, Awake, and to the dumme stone, Rise vp, it shall teach thee: beholde, it is layde ouer with golde and siluer, and there is no breath in it.

  • 7And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the Lorde God of their fathers: and therfore he made them desolate, as ye see.

  • 25But if thou wilt make mee an altar of stone, thou shalt not buylde it of hewen stones: for if thou lift vp thy toole vpon them, thou hast polluted them.

  • 27Therefore, sonne of man, speake vnto the house of Israel, and say vnto them, Thus saith the Lorde God, Yet in this your fathers haue blasphemed me, though they had before grieuously transgressed against me.
