9Be not caried about with diuers & strange doctrines: for it is a good thing that the heart be stablished with grace, and not with meates, which haue not profited them that haue bene occupied therein.
15Studie to shewe thy selfe approued vnto God, a workeman that needeth not to be ashamed, diuiding the worde of trueth aright.
16Stay prophane, and vaine babblings: for they shall encrease vnto more vngodlinesse.
7They would be doctours of the Law, and yet vnderstande not what they speake, neither whereof they affirme.
7For they that sleepe, sleepe in the night, and they that be drunken, are drunken in the night.
4The tongue of the sucking childe cleaueth to the roofe of his mouth for thirst: the yong children aske bread, but no man breaketh it vnto them.
15Let vs therefore as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if yee be otherwise minded, God shall reueile euen the same vnto you.
39Also no man that drinketh olde wine, straightway desireth newe: for he sayth, The olde is more profitable.

20But yee haue not so learned Christ,
5That in all things ye are made rich in him, in all kinde of speech, and in all knowledge:
13Who is a wise man & endued with knowledge among you? let him shew by good conuersation his workes in meekenesse of wisdome.
34Awake to liue righteously, and sinne not: for some haue not ye knowledge of God, I speake this to your shame.
9They are all plaine to him that will vnderstande, and streight to them that woulde finde knowledge.
30For this cause many are weake, & sicke among you, and many sleepe.
