3How shall we escape, if we neglect so great saluation, which at the first began to be preached by the Lorde, and afterward was confirmed vnto vs by them that heard him,
7And our hope is stedfast concerning you, in as much as we know that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
36For ye haue neede of patience, that after ye haue done the will of God, ye might receiue the promes.
1Wherefore, let vs also, seeing that we are compassed with so great a cloude of witnesses, cast away euery thing that presseth downe, and the sinne that hangeth so fast on: let vs runne with patience the race that is set before vs,
2Looking vnto Iesus the authour and finisher of our faith, who for the ioy that was set before him, endured the crosse, and despised the shame, and is set at the right hand of the throne of God.
4For whatsoeuer things are written aforetime, are writte for our learning, that we through patience, and comfort of the Scriptures might haue hope.
20Neither did he doubt of the promise of God through vnbeliefe, but was strengthened in the faith, and gaue glorie to God,

6I will not faile thee, neither forsake thee:
18Pray for vs: for we are assured that we haue a good conscience in all things, desiring to liue honestly.
6But without faith it is vnpossible to please him: for he that commeth to God, must beleeue that God is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seeke him.
11Let vs studie therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same ensample of disobedience.
