16 For the King wil heare, to deliuer his handmayde out of the hande of the man that woulde destroy mee, and also my sonne from the inheritance of God.
4 But for Dauids sake did the Lorde his God giue him a light in Ierusalem, and set vp his sonne after him, and established Ierusalem,

6 But I haue chosen Ierusalem, that my Name might be there, & haue chosen Dauid to be ouer my people Israel.
20 And I will make thee vnto this people a strong brasen wal, & they shal fight against thee, but they shal not preuaile against thee: for I am with thee to saue thee & to deliuer thee, saith ye Lord.
18 For I, beholde, I this day haue made thee a defenced citie, and an yron pillar and walles of brasse against the whole lande, against the Kings of Iudah, and against the princes thereof, against the Priestes thereof and against the people of the lande.
19 For they shall fight against thee, but they shall not preuaile against thee: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, sayth the Lord.
35 I haue sworne once by mine holines, that I will not fayle Dauid, saying,

16 Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no citie of all the tribes of Israel, to builde an house that my name might be there: but I haue chosen Dauid to be ouer my people Israel.
18 For our shield apperteineth to the Lorde, and our King to the holy one of Israel.
9 But they shall serue the Lorde their God, and Dauid their King, whom I will raise vp vnto them.

34 But I will not take the whole kingdome out of his hande: for I will make him prince all his life long for Dauid my seruants sake, whome I haue chosen, and who kept my commandements and my statutes.
10 For thy seruant Dauids sake refuse not the face of thine Anointed.
35 Who are they among all the gods of the nations, that haue deliuered their lande out of mine hand, that the Lorde should deliuer Ierusalem out of mine hand?
