1Thus sayeth the Lord vnto Cyrus his anointed, whose right hand I haue holden to subdue nations before him: therefore will I weaken the loynes of Kings and open the doores before him, and the gates shall not be shut:

5Therefore I haue declared it to thee of old: before it came to passe, I shewed it thee, lest thou shouldest say, Mine idole hath done them, and my carued image, and my molten image hath commanded them.

2When thou passest through the waters, I wil be with thee, & through the floods, that they doe not ouerflowe thee. When thou walkest through the very fire, thou shalt not be burnt, neither shall the flame kindle vpon thee.
23For mine Angel shall go before thee, & bring thee vnto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hiuites, and the Iebusites, and I will destroy them.
10When I stablished my commandement vpon it, and set barres and doores,
25That I will breake to pieces Asshur in my land, and vpon my mountaines will I treade him vnder foote: so that his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden shall be taken from off their shoulder.
12For ye shall not goe out with haste, nor depart by fleeing away: but the Lorde will goe before you, and the God of Israel will gather you together.
13Righteousnesse shall go before him, and shall set her steps in the way.
25Hast thou not heard, howe I haue of olde time made it, and haue formed it long ago? & should I nowe bring it, that it should be destroyed, & laid on ruinous heapes, as cities defensed?
10Feare thou not, for I am with thee: be not afraide, for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee, and helpe thee, and will susteine thee with the right hand of my iustice.
19Behold, I do a new thing: now shal it come foorth: shall you not knowe it? I wil euen make a way in the desert, and floods in the wildernesse.
8Beholde, I haue made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead harde against their foreheads.
