25He that loueth his life, shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world, shall keepe it vnto life eternall.
7Waite patiently vpon the Lorde and hope in him: fret not thy selfe for him which prospereth in his way: nor for the man that bringeth his enterprises to passe.
35Let your loynes be gird about and your lights burning,
24For whosoeuer will saue his life, shal lose it: and whosoeuer shall lose his life for my sake, the same shall saue it.
31So likewise yee, when yee see these thinges come to passe, knowe ye that the kingdome of God is neere.
32Verely I say vnto you, This age shall not passe, till all these things be done:
9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren which are in the world.
19To deliuer their soules from death, and to preserue them in famine.

13But go thou thy way til ye end be: for thou shalt rest & stand vp in thy lot, at ye end of ye daies.
19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God, commit their soules to him in well doing, as vnto a faithfull Creator.
