4Beholde, I make my couenant with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations,
5Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee.
6Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee.

12And therefore sprang there of one, euen of one which was dead, so many as the starres of the skie in multitude, and as the land of the sea shore which is innumerable.
7Neither are they all children, because they are the seede of Abraham: but, In Isaac shall thy seede be called:
8That is, they which are the children of the flesh, are not the children of God: but the children of the promes, are counted for the seede.
9For this is a worde of promes, In this same time wil I come, and Sara shall haue a sonne.
10Neither he onely felt this, but also Rebecca when shee had conceiued by one, euen by our father Isaac.

18And Abraham saide vnto God, Oh, that Ishmael might liue in thy sight.
19Then God saide, Sarah thy wife shall beare thee a sonne in deede, and thou shalt call his name Izhak: and I will establish my couenant with him for an euerlasting couenant, and with his seede after him.
5But to him that worketh not, but beleeueth in him that iustifieth the vngodly, his faith is counted for righteousnesse.
6Euen as Dauid declareth the blessednesse of the man, vnto whom God imputeth righteousnes without workes, saying,

27For it is written, Reioyce thou barren that bearest no children: breake forth, & cry, thou that trauailest not: for the desolate hath many moe children, then she which hath an husband.
28Therefore, brethren, wee are after the maner of Isaac, children of the promes.
2For Sarah conceiued, and bare Abraham a sonne in his olde age, at the same season that God tolde him.
18Seeing that Abraham shalbe in deede a great and a mightie nation, and all the nations of the earth shalbe blessed in him?
3Through faith we vnderstand that the world was ordeined by the worde of God, so that the things which we see, are not made of things which did appeare.
37And that the dead shall rise againe, euen Moses shewed it besides the bush, when he said, The Lord is the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Iacob.
