9The handes of Zerubbabel haue layde the foundation of this house: his handes shall also finish it, and thou shalt knowe that the Lorde of hostes hath sent me vnto you.
10For who hath despised the day of the small thinges? but they shall reioyce, and shall see the stone of tinne in the hand of Zerubbabel: these seuen are the eyes of the Lord, which go thorow the whole world.
25In that day, sayeth the Lord of hostes, shall the naile, that is fastned in the sure place, depart and shall be broken, and fall: and the burden, that was vpon it, shall bee cut off: for the Lorde hath spoken it.
9And the Lorde shall bee King ouer all the earth: in that day shall there bee one Lorde, and his Name shalbe one.
3And in that day will I make Ierusalem an heauie stone for all people: all that lift it vp, shall be torne, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
8Beholde, the eyes of the Lord God are vpon the sinfull kingdome, and I will destroy it cleane out of the earth. Neuerthelesse I will not vtterly destroy the house of Iaakob, saith the Lord.
11Take euen siluer, and golde, and make crownes, and set them vpon the head of Iehoshua, the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest,
12And speake vnto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, & sayth, Behold the man whose name is the Branch, and he shal growe vp out of his place, and he shal build the Temple of the Lord.
13Euen hee shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall beare the glory, and shall sit and rule vpon his throne, and he shalbe a Priest vpon his throne, and the counsell of peace shall be betweene them both.
9By this therefore shall the iniquitie of Iaakob be purged, and this is all the fruit, the taking away of his sinne: whe he shal make all the stones of the altars, as chalke stones broken in pieces, that the groues and images may not stand vp.
4(2:5) Yet nowe be of good courage, O Zerubbabel, sayth the Lord, and be of good comfort, O Iehoshua, sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest: and be strong, all ye people of the land, sayth the Lorde, and doe it: for I am with you, sayth the Lord of hostes,
11This is ye day, that thy walles shalbe built: this day shall driue farre away the decree.
16Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will laye in Zion a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation. Hee that beleeueth, shall not make haste.
5And your eyes shall see it, and yee shall say, The Lorde will be magnified vpon the border of Israel.
11But nowe, I wil not intreate the residue of this people as aforetime, saith the Lord of hostes.
7Then will I cutte off Israel from the lande, which I haue giuen them, and the house which I haue halowed for my Name, will I cast out of my sight, and Israel shall be a prouerbe, and a common talke among all people.
4And he answered and spake vnto those that stoode before him, saying, Take away the filthie garments from him; vnto him hee saide, Behold, I haue caused thine iniquitie to depart from thee, & I wil clothe thee with change of raiment.
5And I saide, Let them set a faire diademe vpon his head. So they set a faire diademe vpon his head, and clothed him with garments, and the Angel of the Lord stoode by.
6Thus saith the Lord of hostes, Though it be vnpossible in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these dayes, should it therefore be vnpossible in my sight, sayth the Lord of hostes?
4I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thiefe, and into the house of him, that falsely sweareth by my Name: and it shall remaine in the middes of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and stones thereof.
20Then will I plucke them vp out of my lande, which I haue giuen them, and this house which I haue sanctified for my Name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a prouerbe and a common talke among all people.
21And this house which is most hie, shall be an astonishment to euery one that passeth by it, so that he shall say, Why hath the Lorde done thus to this lande, and to this house?
9And in that day will I seeke to destroy all the nations that come against Ierusalem.
11Is this House become a denne of theeues, whereupon my Name is called before your eyes? Beholde, euen I see it, sayeth the Lord.
7(2:8) And I will moue all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come, and I will fill this House with glory, sayth the Lord of hostes.
16And the Lord their God shal deliuer them in that day as the flocke of his people: for they shall be as the stones of the crowne lifted vp vpon his land.
14And he shall say, Cast vp, cast vp: prepare the way: take vp the stumbling blocks out of the way of my people.
9In the same day also will I visite all those that dance vpon the threshold so proudly, which fill their masters houses by crueltie and deceite.
7Surely the vineyard of the Lord of hostes is the house of Israel, and the men of Iudah are his pleasant plant, and hee looked for iudgement, but beholde oppression: for righteousnesse, but beholde a crying.
7At that time shall a present be brought vnto the Lord of hostes, (a people that is scattered abroade, and spoyled, & of a terrible people from their beginning hitherto, a nation, by litle and litle euen troden vnder foote, whose land the riuers haue spoyled) to the place of the Name of the Lord of hostes, euen the mount Zion.
7And he will destroy in this mountaine the couering that couereth all people, and the vaile that is spread vpon all nations.
9Thus sayth the Lorde of hostes, Let your hands be strong, ye that heare in these dayes these words by the mouth of the Prophets, which were in the day, that the foundation of the House of the Lord of hostes was laide, that the Temple might be builded.
14Beholde, the dayes come, sayth the Lorde, that I wil performe that good thing, which I haue promised vnto the house of Israel, & to the house of Iudah.
7At that day shal a man looke to his maker, and his eyes shall looke to the holy one of Israel.
8For thus saith the Lord of hostes, After this glory hath hee sent me vnto the nations, which spoyled you: for he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of his eye.
9For beholde, I will lift vp mine hand vpon them: and they shalbe a spoyle to those that serued them, and ye shall knowe, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me.
3Thus sayeth the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Amend your waies and your woorkes, and I will let you dwell in this place.
4And his feete shall stand in that day vpon the mount of oliues, which is before Ierusalem on the Eastside, & the mount of oliues shal cleaue in the middes thereof: toward the East & toward the West there shalbe a very great valley, & halfe of ye mountaine shall remooue toward the North, and halfe of the mountaine towarde the South.
8For in that day, sayth the Lorde of hostes, I will breake his yoke from off thy necke, and breake thy bondes, and strangers shall no more serue themselues of him.
8Goe vp to the mountaine, & bring wood, and build this House, and I wil be fauourable in it, and I will be glorified, sayth the Lord.
1For beholde, in those dayes and in that time, when I shal bring againe the captiuitie of Iudah and Ierusalem,
15Beholde vpon the mountaines the feete of him that declareth, and publisheth peace: O Iudah, keepe thy solemne feastes, perfourme thy vowes: for the wicked shall no more passe thorowe thee: he is vtterly cut off.
