    2 Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats.

    3 And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where [was] a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.

  • 14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD'S anointed?

  • 12 Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver [thee] up.

  • 20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, [which] they drave before those [other] cattle, and said, This [is] David's spoil.

  • 48 ¶ And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.

  • 22 And David answered and said, Behold the king's spear! and let one of the young men come over and fetch it.

  • 15 And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David [was] in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.
