8Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
9Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
10For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
11And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and [that] ye may have lack of nothing.
13And withal they learn [to be] idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
15But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or [as] a thief, or [as] an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
14And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.
9¶ He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.

12And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. [And] be at peace among yourselves.
14Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all [men].
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
11¶ Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
14¶ Of these things put [them] in remembrance, charging [them] before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, [but] to the subverting of the hearers.

17¶ Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

11Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
9For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.
13Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
16That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with [us], and laboureth.

7Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
21For in eating every one taketh before [other] his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
20Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:

12And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling [words], having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
