19¶ Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
23¶ The desire of the righteous [is] only good: [but] the expectation of the wicked [is] wrath.
9Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
