3Who [is] he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

1¶ Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
15Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.
4For since the beginning of the world [men] have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, [what] he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
14¶ Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, [yet] judgment [is] before him; therefore trust thou in him.
21These [things] hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether [such an one] as thyself: [but] I will reprove thee, and set [them] in order before thine eyes.
28Now therefore be content, look upon me; for [it is] evident unto you if I lie.
7Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen [it]: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.
25Every man may see it; man may behold [it] afar off.
22[This] thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
4Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done [this] evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, [and] be clear when thou judgest.
4Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
4Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.
2Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
