  • 18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

  • 12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

  • 8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for [he that is] higher than the highest regardeth; and [there be] higher than they.

  • 13 The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.

  • 23 For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.

  • 23 For he will not lay upon man more [than right]; that he should enter into judgment with God.

  • 1 ¶ If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that [the judges] may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.

  • 5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,

  • 11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

  • 3 The words of his mouth [are] iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, [and] to do good.

  • 12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate [from their right].

  • 29 ¶ A wicked man hardeneth his face: but [as for] the upright, he directeth his way.

  • 8 Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?

  • 28 This also [were] an iniquity [to be punished by] the judge: for I should have denied the God [that is] above.

  • 8 Thy wickedness [may hurt] a man as thou [art]; and thy righteousness [may profit] the son of man.

  • 9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
