3 For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?

13 ¶ Better [is] a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.
7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart [is] my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
27 The fear of the LORD [is] a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
28 ¶ In the multitude of people [is] the king's honour: but in the want of people [is] the destruction of the prince.
