9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone [shall be] seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
6 ¶ Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
13 ¶ And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, [Art] thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but [as] captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest [is] holy. And Joshua did so.

9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

19 And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
14 Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

10 ¶ And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
31 And the Lord said, ‹Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired› [to have] ‹you, that he may sift› [you] ‹as wheat:›
15 And the LORD spake unto Joshua, saying,
