A Prayer of David. Bow down{H8685)} thine ear, O LORD, hear{H8798)} me: for I am poor and needy.
Preserve{H8798)} my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save{H8685)} thy servant that trusteth{H8802)} in thee.
Be merciful{H8798)} unto me, O Lord: for I cry{H8799)} unto thee daily.
Rejoice{H8761)} the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up{H8799)} my soul.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call{H8802)} upon thee.
Give ear{H8685)}, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend{H8685)} to the voice of my supplications.
In the day of my trouble I will call{H8799)} upon thee: for thou wilt answer{H8799)} me.
Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.
All nations whom thou hast made{H8804)} shall come{H8799)} and worship{H8691)} before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify{H8762)} thy name.
For thou art great, and doest{H8802)} wondrous things{H8737)}: thou art God alone.
Teach{H8685)} me thy way, O LORD; I will walk{H8762)} in thy truth: unite{H8761)} my heart to fear{H8800)} thy name.
I will praise{H8686)} thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify{H8762)} thy name for evermore.
For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered{H8689)} my soul from the lowest hell.
O God, the proud are risen{H8804)} against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought{H8765)} after my soul; and have not set{H8804)} thee before them.
But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
O turn{H8798)} unto me, and have mercy{H8798)} upon me; give{H8798)} thy strength unto thy servant, and save{H8685)} the son of thine handmaid.
Shew{H8798)} me a token for good; that they which hate{H8802)} me may see{H8799)} it, and be ashamed{H8799)}: because thou, LORD, hast holpen{H8804)} me, and comforted{H8765)} me.
