6 All these were under the direction of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
7 The number of them, along with their brethren who were instructed in the songs of the LORD, all who were skillful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.
41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were designated by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endures forever;
42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were gatekeepers.
20 And Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries tuned to Alamoth;
21 And Mattithiah, Elipheleh, Mikneiah, Obededom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the Sheminith to excel.
22 And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was in charge of the singing: he instructed about the singing, because he was skillful.
15 And the singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate. They could not depart from their service, because their brethren the Levites prepared for them.

42 Also Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer. The singers sang loudly with Jezrahiah as their leader.
8 And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, with singing, with harps, with psalteries, with timbrels, with cymbals, and with trumpets.
5 And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all kinds of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.
27 At the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem, they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to celebrate the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and with harps.

30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise to the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.
23 For it was the king's command concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.
24 And Shebaniah, Jehoshaphat, Nethaneel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before the ark of God; and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
