    25And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet, for so was the commandment of the LORD by His prophets.

  • 14And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their tasks, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so David the man of God had commanded.

  • 5and he had prepared for him a large room, where previously they had stored the grain offerings, the frankincense, the vessels, and the tithes of grain, new wine, and oil, which were commanded to be given to the Levites, the singers, and the gatekeepers, as well as the offerings for the priests.

  • 22And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was in charge of the singing: he instructed about the singing, because he was skillful.
