12And it was told to King David, saying, The LORD has blessed the house of Obededom, and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
13And it was so, that when those who bore the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.
5And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all kinds of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

7Then on that day David delivered this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brothers.
31Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary, with which they minister, the curtain, and all related service.
42And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were gatekeepers.
25For David said, The LORD God of Israel has given rest to his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem forever:
11And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children of Israel.
2And Hezekiah appointed the divisions of the priests and the Levites according to their divisions, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.
10So David would not move the ark of the LORD to him into the city of David, but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.
12And said to them, You are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both you and your brethren, that you may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it.
8And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, with singing, with harps, with psalteries, with timbrels, with cymbals, and with trumpets.
25So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy.
16Besides their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even to everyone who entered into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their divisions;
