And Elijah the Tishbite, who was one of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain for these years, except by my word.

44And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, a little cloud arises out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say to Ahab, Prepare your chariot, and get down, that the rain does not stop you.
45And it came to pass in the meantime, that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.
46And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
10Know now that nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spoke concerning the house of Ahab, shall fail: for the LORD has done what he spoke by his servant Elijah.
4And Elijah said to him, Elisha, stay here, I pray you; for the LORD has sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. So they came to Jericho.
6And Elijah said to him, Stay here, I pray you; for the LORD has sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. And they both went on.

2And Elijah said to Elisha, Stay here, I pray you; for the LORD has sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said to him, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. So they went down to Bethel.

24And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in your mouth is truth.
21And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
9And he came to a cave and lodged there, and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said to him, What are you doing here, Elijah?
5So he went and did according to the word of the LORD: for he went and lived by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
11But Jehoshaphat said, "Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of the LORD by him?" And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, "Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, who poured water on the hands of Elijah."
17So he died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his place in the second year of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, because he had no son.
13And when Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, a voice came to him, and said, What are you doing here, Elijah?
9Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him, and behold, he sat on the top of a hill. And he spoke to him, Man of God, the king has said, Come down.
25But I tell you the truth, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine swept throughout all the land;
7And also I have withheld the rain from you, when there were still three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece where it did not rain withered.
17And it shall be, that whoever will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
11And he said, Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD. And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
16And the barrel of meal did not waste, nor did the jar of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which He spoke by Elijah.
