8And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the LORD and in the treasuries of the king's house and sent it as a gift to the king of Assyria.
9The king of Assyria heeded him, for he went up against Damascus, captured it, and carried its people captive to Kir, and killed Rezin.
18And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.
19And there was no more war until the thirty-fifth year of the reign of Asa.
6Then King Asa took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah and the timber thereof, with which Baasha was building; and he built with them Geba and Mizpah.
7And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said to him, Because you have relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD your God, therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped from your hand.
1In the thirty-sixth year of the reign of Asa, Baasha king of Israel came against Judah and built Ramah, to prevent anyone from going out or coming in to Asa king of Judah.
5And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaks Benhadad, saying, Although I have sent to you, saying, You shall deliver me your silver, and your gold, and your wives, and your children;
6Yet I will send my servants to you tomorrow about this time, and they shall search your house, and the houses of your servants; and it shall be, that whatever is pleasant in your eyes, they shall put in their hand, and take it away.
18Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things that Jehoshaphat, Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold found in the treasures of the house of the LORD and the king's house, and sent them to Hazael king of Syria. Then he departed from Jerusalem.
14And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria at Lachish, saying, I have done wrong; withdraw from me. Whatever you impose on me, I will bear. So the king of Assyria imposed upon Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
15Hezekiah gave him all the silver found in the house of the LORD and the treasuries of the king's house.
16At that time Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.
22Then King Asa made a proclamation throughout all Judah; none was exempted, and they took away the stones and timber of Ramah, which Baasha had used to build it. King Asa used them to build Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
24And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his army, and went up, and besieged Samaria.
33Now the men diligently observed whether anything would come from him, and hastily caught it: and they said, Your brother Benhadad. Then he said, Go, bring him. Then Benhadad came forth to him; and he brought him up into the chariot.
34And Benhadad said to him, The cities, which my father took from your father, I will restore; and you shall make streets for yourself in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will send you away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away.
5And the king of Syria said, Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand gold pieces, and ten changes of clothing.
16At that time, King Ahaz sent to the kings of Assyria to help him.
9So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels' load, and came and stood before him, and said, "Your son Benhadad king of Syria has sent me to you, saying, 'Shall I recover from this disease?'"
8And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage and removed the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.
9And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon, for they joined him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.
10So they gathered together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

11And behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, indeed, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
12And Asa, in the thirty-ninth year of his reign, was diseased in his feet, until his disease was very severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the LORD, but the physicians.
9Therefore, he said to the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that you first sent for to your servant I will do: but this thing I may not do. And the messengers departed, and brought him word again.
10And Benhadad sent to him, and said, The gods do so to me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.
2And he placed forces in all the fortified cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.
7And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, "The man of God is come here."
17And the young men of the princes of the provinces went out first; and Benhadad sent out, and they told him, saying, There are men come out of Samaria.
2And Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God.
9In the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Asa began to reign over Judah.
23And it came to pass at the end of the year, that the army of Syria came up against him; and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them to the king of Damascus.
8And Asa had an army of men who carried shields and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, those who carried shields and drew bows, two hundred and eighty thousand: all these were mighty men of valor.
20And the king commanded Hilkiah, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Abdon the son of Micah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah a servant of the king's, saying,
