8 And they walked in the statutes of the nations whom the LORD had cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made.

5 He trusted in the LORD God of Israel, so that after him there was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any before him.
6 For he clung to the LORD and did not depart from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses.
7 The LORD was with him; he prospered wherever he went, and he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.
14 And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him.
5 And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, Please inquire first for the word of the Lord.

14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
3 He did what was right in the sight of the LORD, just as David his father had done.
20 And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa. And as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.
61 Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
