17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you.

3 And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and did not seek after the Baal idols;
4 But sought the LORD God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the practices of Israel.
5 Therefore the LORD established the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honor in abundance.
6 And his heart was uplifted in the ways of the LORD; moreover, he took away the high places and groves from Judah.
6 And said, O LORD God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven? And do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations? And in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?

4 And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem, and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to Mount Ephraim, and brought them back to the LORD God of their fathers.
5 And he appointed judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city,
6 And said to the judges, Take heed what you do, for you judge not for man but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
2 Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim this word there, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all you of Judah, who enter these gates to worship the LORD.
5 And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, Please inquire first for the word of the Lord.

5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
20 Then Hezekiah the king rose early, gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
17 Then both men in the controversy shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges who serve in that time;
9 If disaster comes upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and in Your presence (for Your name is in this house) and cry out to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save us.
